Scratch off Bouquet

Happy Saturday! I don't know about you but there are times when I have to get a gift for someone and I have absolutely NO CLUE what to get them.  I started searching Pinterest..and saw these awesome candy bar bouquets. Who doesn't love chocolate... Right? So I decided to tweak it a little and make it more personal. Here's what it looked like almost done.

Now silly me forgot to take another picture after it was all done, so let me tell you what it's missing. I added more foil paper to cover the foam, and more Slim Jims and M&M's so the skewer sticks were not visible. The recipient loved it and that's what counts.

Materials:

Hot glue gun
Foam Block
Four of your favorite candy boxes (movie theater kind)
Ribbon for bow
Wooden skewers
Assorted goodies
I used Lottery tickets, mini Slim jims, peanut packets, fun sized m&m's, sm liquor bottles

Monster Truck Autograph book

Hello all! Let me start by saying that my son LOVES Monster Jam. (More like obsessed:) Every year we have go and see the show when it comes to town. This year we were able to get the Pit Passes to meet the drivers so I decided to make him a little book for pictures and autographs.

The book measures about 5x7". The front and back covers are patterned paper over 2 thick cardboard layers (I wanted it to last a while) all drenched covered in Modge Podge. He was able to get signatures on one side of the page and pictures on the next.

Another Teacher Appreciation Gift

Hello all. I wanted to share with you a gift my son took for his teacher.  At the beginning of the year the room mom had the teacher fill out a form with her favorite things which came in handy when it was teacher appreciation week.

We just lined them up on a tray and used small hot glue dots to hold everything in place. We then put it in a basket bag and finished it with a bow. It was a really quick and fun gift to make.

*The cans of soda we used were the smaller ones and the chocolates were fun sized.*

Money Rose Bouquet

Oh my! I have seriously neglected my blog again. With all the things going on around here it always gets postponed. I know a lot of you can relate.  While I have been crafting loads over the past year, my paper crafting has taken a backseat. I have done several cards among other things and I will show you those during the next few days.

Ok so today I want to share with you a money rose bouquet I made for my mom.  She made sure to call and tell me not to "buy" her anything for her birthday.  Technically I didn't.
So, after watching several tutorials on you tube about folding money, this is what I came up with.
