It's been a while!!!

It's been a really looong time since I posted and I feel completely disconnected.  My last post was at the beginning of November YIKES! I have been dealing with some health issues, but after 2 surgeries and some radiation I am almost back to my happy crafting self....well almost. There are tons of crafting things I have done and I will share some with you slowly. OK enough writing.  Let's get to today's project.

After spending so much time out of my craft room I felt like my things could use some rearranging starting with my ribbon.  While my current ribbon holder has worked for me in the past, I wanted something neater.  Since those ribbon holder shelves are so expensive I decided to make my own.
I have tons of foam board that I got from my local dollar store and I thought that would work.  While searching for a good picture I could use I found a great TUTORIAL. I couldn't believe it!  It is awesome and the instructions worked great!!

So here is a picture of my ribbon before:

My new ribbon shelf:

I am so happy with the way it turned out! It looks so much better. The foam board is very sturdy and I am amazed at how strong it feels. You can find the awesome tutorial HERE.  I made mine a little smaller than the one in the tutorial because I do not have as much ribbon as she does and it took me about 45 minutes to measure, cut, and glue. Total cost was about $2.00!! Can't beat that. Now I think I will make some shelves for my cricut cartridges....:)
